I'm having some issues
My school gives us iPads to use for school, these iPads are owned by the school so we can not download any apps. Recently I was using duolingo on my ipad through the desktop website and it worked just fine. However as of late I have not been able to do any lessons or practice. The only parts of the website that still work for me are the immersion and the timed practice. I was wondering if anyone else that uses duolingo this way has any tips for troubleshooting these problems as I kind of miss using my study hall for "German 101"
Sadly, I've never been able to get the website version of Duolingo to operate efficiently on my ipad (mine's an older generation ipad.) Fortunately, I use the Duolingo app on my ipad.
Maybe, you can ask the school to download Duolingo for you???
Ya, I'd definitely ask the school. If they aren't stupid and/or technologically illiterate, they will download it for you. Duolingo, despite it being a relative newcomer to the language learning scene, is well known on the internet.
if you can't use the app, can you still use the browser to access the webpage?
I have not been able to reproduce the problem you seem to be experiencing - can you tell me at what point you're prevented from doing lessons and practices? Any extra information would be helpful, thanks!
if i were to click "practice lesson" it takes me to the screen where i can choose either timed practice or regular practice and if i try to do regular practice the questions don't come up. the same thing happens when i try to do a lesson.
