I am having trouble with Immersion

I just recently started to use Immersion. I have been struggling to figure it out, but did post a few translations. But, something went wrong . I have received notices on 2 of my Kelly Clarkson translations that they have been revised. When I checked, in both cases, my translation was not on the sentence I intended it to be. I do not know what happened, I thought I had the correct sentence selected.

I do not know how to find if the same thing happened on other translations I did. Is there a way to easily find my translations so that I can check them?

Is there a way for me to deleted my translations on those sentences? I would like to continue working on Immersion to help me learn, but now, I am not sure if it is a good idea.

Can anyone answer either of my questions and / or offer any

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Sadly, you can't delete your translated sentences (its a bummer). You can view your translations by clicking on Immersion, and clicking on your edits. Then, all you have to do is find the article you translated on and look for your sentence.

Thanks Dabbling Duck, I will got have a look shortly. I know there is a legend using different colors to indicate - my translations , those that need translating etc, but I have trouble scrolling thru a longer article and finding mine, or the ones that need doing etc. But I will go check in a while. But if I do find one of mine that is on the wrong sentence, since I can not delete, is there anything I can do?

You can a) translate the problem sentence as best you can or b) write an apologetic little note in the comments box to the effect that you dropped the translation in the wrong comment box and now can't get rid of it. The note will at least explain to the next person where the odd comment came from (and possibly spare you a downvote or two).

I tried to find a way to do that after receiving the notice about the revision. I could not see a place to do that under my translation. I do not want to mess up and attach that kind of note to the other persons translation. Can you tell me how to add a comment to that effect with out making things worse. And I still do not know how this happened. Am a little "gun shy" now , since there is not a way to delete if I enter something incorrectly. Thanks for your reply and if you could give tell me how to do that , I would appreciate it. THANKS>

There's a second box under the translation box. It's a little hard to see, but you can identify it by the scroll bars beside it, to its right.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry but I am still having trouble. I found the box, but it appears to be used when adding a new translation or maybe it gets attached the top translation I am not sure. I do not see a way to add a comment to the box containing my translation. I just do not understand. I do not want to make things worse. Am I missing something?

You need to click on the edit button and then you can edit the translation and/or the comment.

I did not see a reply button on your last comment. Thanks for trying to help ,but I could not get it to work. Maybe if I had done it before someone else posted a translation - I do not know. Guess I will just forget it, probably not worth the aggravation Again, thanks..
