English TV series or Movies dubbed in Dutch?

Goedendag sap! Ik ben een appel. LMAO. Seriously though, anyone here knows where I can watch or download English movies or TV series (How I Met Your Mother) dubbed in Dutch?

Dank je wel!

I can't really help you with finding what you're looking for, but I must tell you that it's not a habit in the Netherlands and (Flemish speaking) Belgium to dub movies and TV series that are not specifically meant for children, those would rather get subtitles. :) Most foreign children's programs/movies are dubbed, however.

In belgium (and I reckon in the netherlands as well) we do not dub english movies, we almost always sub them. You could watch some dutch series, unfortunately the ones I know are all flemish.

I recommend Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks films. You might know the English version, so even if you don't understand a few words, you can guess them easily, and these are the only ones that are dubbed anyway... (Because, as said before, we don't usually dub foreign films and series.)

Well, I guess I have to settle for children's movies then. I was kind of hoping that there are dubbed versions of How I Met Your Mother series out there. But yeah, cartoons would be okay. Thanks guys!

Disney movies are usually very well done, and hey, it doesn't hurt to rewatch some classics in the name of 'language research' ;)

I know you asked for dubs, but you can also find Dutch subtitles for many movies. Of course in order for you to not rely on the audio track, you should pick movies in a language you do not understand. I assume you speak English, so maybe try some French, Spanish, Swedish or Japanese movies with Dutch subtitles.

Of course it makes a bad listening material by the virtue of not being listened to at all.

You can also look for Dutch movies, but there are not many of them and they usually suck.
