Hi,

It seems to be a maximum length of messages we can post in streams and that not a bad thing at all.

But would it be possible to have a counter of the remaining characters authorized and/or --- better IMO --- that we can't write any other character once we have reached the limit.

Indeed I already have been quiet irritated because I had written a long explanation to someone with a lot of details on her/his stream, then I sent my comment and... my message was truncated and it was impossible to have my entire all message back to make a C/C and put it in the stream in several pieces. So I never wrote it again... ;)

I second that. The exact same thing happened to me, and it would be nice to have a counter (just like in Youtube comments for instance)... since it would allow us to divide our original message in multiples chunks.
