"Es un avión grande."
Translation:It is a big plane.
Curious about why her pronunciation of "grande" sounds like it has the English short a, as in cat, in its first syllable. I think I have noticed this before on Duolingo. Is this regional, or has my perception of the Spanish "a" been off all along, or...?
The Spanish a should always sound like ah. Like the first o in octopus.
