Esperanto Proverboj: Parto Unu
I thought I'd post some proverbs for everyone to learn. :)
1: Kia patro, tia filo.
English equivalent: Like father, like son.
2: Kiam nokto vualas, ĉiuj koloroj egalas.
Translation: When the veil of night falls, all colors are equal. English equivalent: All cats are grey in the dark.
3: Ne en unu tago elkreskis Kartago.
Translation: Carthage didn't raise up in only one day. Meaning: Large enterprises take time to build.
I made a transcript of the proverbs from Evildea's video. It contains all the proverbs from the video with English and German equivalents. => http://www.docdroid.net/mzGu3kl/esperanto-proverbs-and-their-english-and-german-equivalents.pdf.html
