thank you Duolingo
i just wanna say thanks Duolingo... i always wanted to learn new languages but i couldn't because i live in a third world country and i can't pay for online lessons ..and you guys made it happen
What a great post, and just shows the power of the Internet and the online community, as well as the brilliant idea of the Duolingo founders and developers.
I think the idea of free language learning for the whole world is a great one, and in the future I hope to be able to learn some skills in Hindi, Urdu and Arabic, when these languages come (as they will, I am sure) to Duolingo.
The more we speak and learn each other's languages, the better will be the understanding between peoples and nations, which is all for the good of the World!
It feels cool to me that I have been the first to find such a fantastic tool that I now have gotten to share with friends. I really like it when I see a new post from a person who doesn't originally speak english and what they are saying makes perfect sense to me. It makes me more confident in what I say in spanish to my co-workers. Confidence is key!
I have to agree with you. The Duolingo concept for learning is amazing. They get translations from us that they can sell while we learn for free. It's great and the result of the translations is comparable to a real payed translator since all the users are able to correct and improve the sentences that are being translated. This is more than amazing actually. :) I'm convinced that this site will grow in popularity even more when more languages are being introduced. Duolingo also brings much better translations than machine translated sentences provided by for example "Google Translate". Now, thanks to the Incubator I am convinced that I will be able to learn Arabic very soon. :) That is my biggest wish. I feel motivated to learn that language but I'm learning Italian in the meantime.
i agree ...and if you decide to learn Arabic ...contact me ..im arab i can help
I'll add you as friend here on Duolingo. I'm actually studying Arabic at the University here in Sweden. I love it. =)

Hal häthä jayyid aw ghayr jayyid? :)
Yes it's me singing. I know of some errors but don't judge me. I'm still a beginner with much to learn.
