While "жарко" is in the Ukrainian dictionary, "Мені спекотно" would be a more preferable version.

Well... That means "I'm hot" but... in a different way :D

So, on one hand, yes, on the other, this topic is "weather" and we don't want you to go around and say "Я гарячий" when you feel hot :D So no, not accepting this version to make sure I've learned the correct way of saying it...

We always used "Мені гарчо." " Йому/її гарячо." for body temperature being 'hot'.
