Weird practice sentence: No tocamos mujeres
There are really some weird practice sentences used here. Like the one I just encountered: "No tocamos mujeres" - we don't touch women. I can't imagine there's a great number of people who would have use for that sentence.
"The fish on that plate is already eaten"... What EXACTLY is this restaurant serving people!?!?
There should be more funny and weird sentences, because it really helps with learning. Like "She is probably my wife" hehe
tee hee I love the humor in it. My favorite was Nosotros somos tortugas. We are turtles. I spent a few days saying that one with all of my friends.
for me "sabemos donde tu familia vive" was the best "we know where your family lives" sounds like something out of the Sopranos
Well if you happen to live in Saudi Arabia people don't touch or speak to women who are not related to them so that would be a useful sentence there.
I've seen a lot of weird or funny ones. Only one I can remember now is German: "Der Maus spielt mit einem Bär" or something like that... The mouse is playing with a bear. Unlikely ;) Also in all languages, many odd combinations of animals eating unlikely things. A possible answer (in English) I saw (nothing like correct) for a French question just now: A red horse plays and reads with the child.
Nostros somos tortugas was the first weird one I saw lol ^^ I wonder how exactly these sample sentences are created
firstly, I find them hilarious sometimes secondly, as funny as they are, they might actually be useful, nto for everyday conversation, but you never know, if you was to one day become fluent and watch films or read books, you never know!! The dogs may well be eating a potato!
