I'm really tired of duo lingo constantly marking sentences as incorrect when they involve the word "fare" in different forms. If "to do" or "to make" are not correct in the given sentence they should not be included in the definitions. I don't really understand why sometimes it accepts both to make or to do and sometimes only one or the other.

"He would have done it by now", or "by then" , depending on context, is normal English."by now done it" definitely not. Whether Duo accepts it is, of course, another question....
