Not my Students

Why do I have people signing up for my class who are not my students? How can I stop this?

Hi! Did you happen to share the link publicly? Anyone with access to the link can enter your class. The link is exclusive for the specific class, so you could transfer your real students to a new class (generate a new link) and then remove the "compromised" class. Would that help?

Thanks - that helps. I wish I could block.

Interestingly, after deleting the former class - it reappears as others sign up for it. Ugh.

We'll take note of that, thank you for letting us know and we hope it won't be too much of an inconvenience right now. :]

Is it possible to delete students out of a class? I have a student who signed in twice with 2 different email addresses. Can I delete him?

Certainly! Click on the class where the student is. On the sidebar to the left, click on "Activity details." Check the box to the left of the student you want to remove and an option should show up on the top of the list (the options "move student" and "remove" appear next to the big blue "cancel" button). Click on "remove" and the student will be removed. :]
