Gender articles for vocabulary

I know many people have brought this up before in discussion, but I'd like to add something to the long-standing requests that Duolingo add articles / gender to the vocab list. I'd like to request that gender is added to duolingo.com/words (also, the English translations of words would be really great). There is a spot for it in the object that the URL points to, but it is null for all the words. For the programming-savvy among us (myself including), this would be immensely helpful. Also, the feature of having gender available on the list itself would also be pretty huge. As it stands, when I want to drill vocabulary outside of Duolingo, I have to translate unfamiliar words one-at-a-time, which takes forever.

Much thanks for all the hard work! Duolingo is awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing the direction things take with the Incubator in the coming months!

Well, it is a really good idea, but the thing is, a lot of people have suggested it. So, I only suggest you try to read the other discussions, but it seems that Duolingo is never going to add it , or they are not going to add it in the really late future...

It hasn't been added yet. That doesn't mean they're "never going to add it"; it means they're busy working on the 800 other things which are avidly requested by scores of people every week.

I know, it doesn't seem like it, but that's what I actually meant.
