Eu terminei a minha árvore português!
Shish, that was quite a labor intensive tree :) Onto the other two romance languages started so hopefully by the end of this year I'll finish Italian and French trees. In the meantime planning to keep up my spanish/portuguese skills by reading, learning new vocabulary and listening to audiobooks/news/songs on my way to work.
Aside for Memrise, can you guys recommend any other websites to enhance vocabulary and have fun in the process?
Thanks and vice versa! I see you're tackling French and Portuguese in addition to English :)
First of all: CONGRATULATIONS on you mighty achievement! I just went to look for other online free language sites. This is the first to pop-up: take a look and let me know if you need others: http://www.smashingapps.com/2010/09/09/5-best-free-websites-to-learn-foreign-languages.html
Thank you :) I'm really excited to try to squeeze as much language learning as I can into my life. Thanks for sharing the website- I'll check it out. Good luck on the Portuguese journey! Let me know if there is anything I can help you with :) bliu bliu is pretty cool and easy to use if you need some diversity.
Thank you! I'm very excited at this learning experience. I wanted to learn Portoguese since grammar school, when I had a nanny who spoke Portuguese. I'm finding some pesky problems, and not just the accents. Luckily I speak Italian, Spanish, French and some latin, so I get by. If you speak Italian fluently enough: my Portuguese is for now MACCHERONICO. Just like my latin was. I'll check out bliu bliu, though. Thanks for the tip. And I am impressed at the number of languages you've learned!
