Why is it helt and not hele? I get confused with this word a lot.

I thought that "finnes det" was an acceptable translation for "there are." Not here though?
If you were to begin the sentence with "finnes," it would be asking a question. You must begin the statement with "det" in order for it to translate well.
I used 'betingelser' and it was acceptef.
