Does anyone know this function, or the points of transitions towards a new level? Is this some kind of an exponential function?

Just curious as it seemed way easier at the beginning to advance. Anyone with a function or "transition points" up to the top level?

I've been writing down the number of points for every level as I work through Spanish course. Here's what I have up to now (Level - points required to get to the next level → total points by the end of the level):

  • 1 - 60 → 60
  • 2 - 60 → 120
  • 3 - 60 → 180
  • 4 - 120 → 300
  • 5 - 150 → 450
  • 6 - 300 → 750
  • 7 - 375 → 1125
  • 8 - 525 → 1650
  • 9 - 600 → 2250
  • 10 - 750 → 3000

Also, from my French and German status:

  • 21 - 2000 → 19000
  • 22 - 3500 → 22500

Great! Thanks, olimo! Perfectly presented! I wished I had taken those "points" as well (but I will for my next "rides"!) ;)

just checked with R: seemed pretty exponential level vs points. At least up level 10... ;)

With every level, it takes more points to advance. I am on 15 and to get to 16 I need to earn 1,500 points. However, to get from level 1 to level 2 I only had to get like 30 or so points. Top level is 25. You'll need a total of 30,000 points to get to that level. (Or, so I've heard.) We can gain more than 30,000 points though. But at this time, there is no level 26. The fastest way to earn points is for those who are able, to translate articles. However, if you are competing with someone, you might be ahead in overall points, but they can still be ahead of you in skill points (which you won't get from translating.)
