Hello, i'm french. I want to improve my level in english ; so i'm looking for someone to speak english with me. It would be cool !!!! if you want learn french, we can speak french too !!!!!
I'm living in France, for the moment in the south, closed to Marseille, but i'm going to move to Paris for the next year. What are you doing ? Me i"m student i'm 22 years old !!
Cool:) Thanks for the corrections. How is Southern France? Have you been to the Pyrenees Mountains and perhaps to Andorra? Just curious. If you are able, how would you compare Northern and Central France with Southern France? Thanks!
ohhh Southern is the best place to live !!!! it's a wonderfull area .. you can see all landscape : sea, mountain, campaign, big city with lot of activities like Marseille, or little and ancestral villages.. Next year, i will miss my sun everyday !!!!! Yes, i have already been in Pyrenees but i was a child... in Marseille it's easier to go to Alpes. do you know Alpes, it's between France and Switzerland !! it's closer. And if i have to compare Southern France to the other areas, i would say that the best difference it"s the temperature of course, and maybe the lifestyle. We are closed to Italy, or Spain. This the same rythme, the same state of mind. For me, Northern it"s more serious and you gotta live fast !!!! the Mediterranean beaches are very different too. In the north, beaches are long, big and flat, in south there are more intimate, between cliffs
I live in the Western United States. Yeah, it's unfortunate that French is not commonly spoken here. Of course, Quebec is not too far away... So, why are you learning English? Is it for a particular country such as the U.K., The United States, Australia, etc.?
Have you been to the Swiss Alps? Also, I'm curious how the variety (dialect) of French is there. Is it different? btw (by the way), you have very good English:) You have very few mistakes, but they do not impede on understanding. We say "The south," "The Alps," and "The Pyrenees" Just note, that we say the "main difference" and not the "best difference." I hope this helps somewhat:) What countries would you like to travel to?
Ok thank you !!!!! i want to improve so please correct me ! Yes i have already been to the Swiss Apls !!! The southern dialect is not really different. The main difference is the accent and several expression. it's difficult to explain... Here, when people speak, doesn't say the word like it 's written.. the end of word it's always exaggerated .. you have to mention all letters !!! and people speak loudly ! but speak about you now ? Where do you live, do you like France ? why do you want improve you level in french?
So, in the variety of French spoken in the south you would pronounce the letter "s" at the end of most words (including plurals)? I am learning French for a lot of reasons. Well, first, it is an international language spoken in France, Canada, Algeria (North Africa in general), Central and West Africa, South-East Asia, The South Pacific, and a lot of other places: I want to improve my French because it's useful and it allows you to talk with people from all across the globe:) I like France, but I think I would enjoy the south much more. Have you been to Corsica? It might be interesting. I am From the U.S.
Yes corsica it's amazing! But it's to small !!! You cross the Country in one day ! Were do you live un US ?
Bonjour ! Moi aussi je suis française et comme tu le vois je suis au niveau 13 en anglais. Si tu veux, je pourrai t'aider :-) :-) :-) PS : j'apprends aussi le français pour inverser Français->Anglais à Anglais->Français.
