Grading is extremely slow

Since a week or so the grading process takes so long that duolingo is not usable anymore. I have cleared my browser cache, logged in and out dozens of times, but the issue is still there.

Any ideas?

This happened to me today, and i almost quit, and lost my (2 day) streak. Have you tried a different browser? tried mobile?

The issues could be: Your internet connection. If your internet is slow then that is this cause. Not very likely, but if you are on an old or cheap computer it could be that. It is most likely a problem on Duolingo's servers. Also make sure not to use Internet explorer because it's horrible. Good luck!

I have this problem more on my IPAD with the app, do not often have it on the website on my desktop. Is very upsetting at times. I have even had it just completely exit the app app and I lose my progress. I had been thinking of posting to ask if anyone else had that issue

Today I almost lost my 157 days streak. I needed to change my settings to one lesson (from 4) and try and try several times until I was able to complete a lessont without freezing. Sad... Using an android phone
