French tree completed!
I just completed my French tree. I am so happy!
nice, I just started french with my school. like 3 days ago, I am only up to clothing. Is the french course a good one?
Yes, it is. A little each day, say 30 XP, and keeping those topics gold, will really help your school learning. Bonne chance!
That's nice, congrats! Do you feel like you can easily interact with people using what you've learned here? How would you score your level of french now compared to the beginning?
Good questions. Yes, I do. I feel like I can interact with other people but I still need more practice and more vocabulary, especially verb tenses. I believe my french level is intermediate now, but getting close to advance. Keep it up!
Salut Kelly. Ça va? Well, luckily yes. Did not have to buy streak freeze so far. lol However, not on a crazy mode lately as I got busy. Think one can easily earn well over 100xp if one revisit what's covered already and learn something new in a single day. Hope you do the same or maybe better. Am envious of people with 300something or even 700something streak. Way to go Kel! ;)
Bonjour avanade. I am fine. I don't really like to buy streak freezes either. I have never earned 100 xp in one day, because I wouldn't have enough time. But anyway, maybe someday.
1413 last Wednesday. About 400 of that was working on the French, Norwegian and German trees; the rest was in French immersion. Yesterday, Sunday, was only 276. That's my lowest total for a while.
Well think it all depends on individual's level of French before commencing Duolingo. For native speakers, completing the tree will be done without even reaching double digit level as they need minimum time spent on practising using Duo. :D
Good job! I could never imagine myself finishing my tree. Now that you mention it, I've kinda been neglecting my French. Sorry but it makes my head burst! (figuratively if you were starting to get worried.((sorry but I had to put that in!(((sorry about all these parentheses!)))))) I am currently struggling with questions and I still haven't got common phrases down! (Well,I have a few words of it, but don't count on me to remember them 2 days later!) And don't get me started on Present 1! I like French, but sometimes it can be a pain in the neck! As I said before, good job!
I am kind of like you lillyflowercat. I mean, I do French a lot, but sometimes I struggle also. Good luck with your French!
To eduardo.almiron, congratulations!!! To shaddin, the french course on duolingo is probably the best one you can find. Good luck!
ok thanks I just want to be doing the right course not spend all my time on a course that I don't learn from
