Am I wrong?

Duolingo says, that "Je suis petit car je suis un enfant." translates as "I am small because I am a child.", but what if I'll put there "parce que" instead of "car" would it be right?

yes, it means the same thing. I always use parce que, i'm not sure if there is any difference at all. I've heard that car is more serious or something.
