Hiding email address

Hello. When students click a link to be added to a class, they get a message telling them their progress is being followed and give the teacher's email address rather than their user name. Is it possible to change this so email addresses of both students and teachers are hidden? Thanks

Unfortunately, it is not possible at this time. Do you and your students have school email addresses that you could use? Happy learning!

Sadly we don't. I'll see if I can find a way round it. Thanks!

We don't allow hiding yet, and we let you see it so that you can be sure the student name matches the owner of the email. It is an interesting point you have though, and it is worth considering. Thanks!

I know this isn't the best solution, but maybe when the students are adding the class, you could first put a random/fake email address, and then after all the students have entered the class, you can switch back, and get all the notifications. I myself, am NOT a techno gadget person, so I can help you find a way around that. Hope it helps, (probably not) :)

I would also like to see a feature of hiding pupils' email addresses so we just see the username. I love that I can track their progress but don't want to see their personal email addresses!
