Think of is as 'Pol' (of Poland), and 'lando' (a country)...

The Correct Solutions are a wipe-out on this one. Yes, "gxis" can mean either "to" or "as far as". But WHY is "to Polland" and "as far as Poland" accepted and my answer of "to Poland" is not??? Should the spelling issue be reported?

I translate “to Poland” as “al Pollando.” That is the normal expression. If you choose to say “ĝis Pollando” in my opinion “as far as …” is a better translation. But it is difficult to draw a border.

Until is usually used for time references. You might get it in directions but not directly before a place. Like, go down the road until you reach the crossroads but not until crossroads
