I've finished my french tree, finally
Took me 3 years but I've finally reached it B)
Alors, vous devriez pouvoir dire tout ça en français! Pouvez-vous me comprendre facilement?
Congrats! That's a great accomplishment! I also am taking a very long time to finish my tree.... Are you planning on doing the reverse tree, or taking on another language? :)
Russian language is very different from English. Writing, reading, even speaking are very hard.I know that cause Russian is my native language. I don't know HOW would Duolingo be able to teach you. Я буду очень рада, если ты сможешь говорить на языке Пушкина и Булгакова.
Congratulations. I have just finished my italian tree and it took me about the same amount of time.
It's pretty hard to stay motivated, I've resetted a couple of times so I can have fresh starts
Yeah. While I did not reset the italian course, I abbandoned it for a while when I moved to Italy, thinking that living here would teach me all the italian I need. Silly me. Now, to finish it I left the swedish course hanging in there for a while but now I hope to finish it soon.
Job well done! What is your next move? Doing a reverse tree(aka English course for French speakers) or more translation practice using Immersion perhaps? Wish all the best with your continuous learning journey! A lingot for you!
Way to go!
Thank you for the heads up. My husband said it would take me 3 years to learn a language, I thought 3 years is not so long. That was a year and a half ago.
Congrats! I took French in high school and have been studying it for a while recently. Just for my knowledge, how comfortable are you to speak, read, and write now in French? Do you have any tips regarding practice and application?
I still have to practice but listening to songs I can understand the lyrics.
Congrats!! I'm working on French right now, and hopefully I'll get to the end at some point :) But seriously, that is amazing.
Félicitations! I am doing all the languages my school offers (French, German, Spanish,) Then I am moving on to something fun, like Irish or Italian.
Congrats! Stick with it!
I just wondering how are your French reading, listening and speaking abilities now when you've finished this Duolingo tree? How confident you are when you need to communicate in French?
I still need to practice a bit, there's a difference between writing and speaking
salut, bravo ! Si tu as besoin d'aide... n'hésite pas ! je suis française...
congratulations I'm over 3 years in and I'm still not quite done but then I never knew any french, also when I got a new tablet I started over again so I think that took me back a bit. I love the duolingo
