If Duolingo could add English for russian-speakers, that would be very nice. It would double the followers and fans.

and you think your post "this is a stupid idea" is helpful? or care to explain why it's a stupid idea that someone is trying to learn Russian?

The issue might not be with the language itself. There are many threads asking the same thing and asking for a language is not likely to speed up the process.
