I don't understand the logic of "enlitiĝas": why do you have to be made to enter the bed? I don't understand why it is not active: something like "enlitas". Any help?

Enliti - to be in bed. Enlitigi - to make someone be in bed (bring him/her to bedroom and put in the bed while he/she sleeps for example). Enlitiĝi - to make self be in bed (frequently by going there and putting self into it)
