Gross in British English is pretty colloquial, is ekkel the same in Norwegian?
Wouldn't "motbydelig" be more appropriate here instead of ekkel? Just curious.
That is also accepted. The point is to have as few "best solutions" as possible.

There must be a better translation of ekkel than 'gross', not a word I've ever heard used in the context of the taste of food. (Eating toothpaste or snot is 'gross'). Nasty? Horrible?Unpleasant? Inedible? ...
