I see a lot of people asking for Asian languages
Language courses are being worked on in the Incubator. These current courses are: English from German, English from Russian, English from Chinese, English from Polish, Portugese from Spanish (I may be wrong about this one.) For an Asian language (or any new language in general) to be added, it must be completed in the Incubator by Duolingo-selected people. I am sure Asian languages will be added eventually, but you just have to wait; asking for Asian languages will not make this process any faster, the Duolingo team is hard at work so please be patient.
I tell them that every time, and so do the moderators and the time and probably others. They're usually new learners who haven't been around very long at all.
Puddl3glum makes an excellent point. And it doesn't help where the incubator is located. Instead of at the top of the page, it is along the side. I was here when they first brought it in so I noticed it. And yet I still only figured out there were links to the English user's Spanish language discussion under it. And I STILL forget the support tab on the other side. So, I try not to assume this or that side link should have been obvious to new folks.
