accounts mixed up

I initially created a personal account to learn Italian. Then, more recently, I saw the possibility to creat a class with Duolingo and asked my French students to join the class; a few did, and some started using it. The problem showed when I wanted to look at the details after receiving notifications of activity. At first, the site did not accept or recognize my password, which was different for the class; resetting the password only took me to my account, not the class. Now, when I went back to my Google Classroom, where the link to join was posted, it took me to... my Italian account!

How would I transfer the studemts to another account/class, as I think I may need to create a new class and delete the one started? Or is it that I'll create a new class and have the students join in with a new code?
