I have a suggestion........

When I am prompted to strengthen skills in a certain lesson category, and I open that lesson, I think it would be great to quickly review the vocab, by having a "hover over" translation of the new (to be reviewed) words, and then take the skill 'test' . There are a number of reasons I think this would be helpful to learning. Often, one doesn't get every word in a longer lesson on the test. By having the ability to review ALL the lesson words, even if you don't get it n that review, it's one more chance for the student to see the word, and its translation.

This would be good to have. However in the meantime if you have a look on Quizlet there are plenty of entries for Duolingo French that you can browse and export to complement your Duolingo studies. Here's the link

Good Luck

The problem with Quizlet is that it is not always accurate.

Yes you have to be cautious. However you can export the good parts and adapt the entries to your own needs in your own entries. Also you can highlight which entries you wish to concentrate on so you can focus on strengthening your weaknesses.

Thank you for suggesting this! I just made a quiz so I can practice voir vs. vouloir. I'd been wishing duolingo had something like this!

That sounds like a good idea, and there should be an option where you pick words to review and it uses only those words in a lesson (there would be no xp however, because someone could pick one word and xp hack basicly)

Great idea. I would like lesson pretests geared to further examining weaknesses. I find that in later lessons those areas in which I am weak (that I wasn't aware were weak) come back to make those new lessons more complicated.
