Translation:How can we advertise on the internet?
In dutch and french, we can write het internet and internet. Is it also possible in English?
No, in English it's always the internet. Or the web. If you want to use a word that doesn't need a definite article, you can use online (I looked it up online, for example).
It sounds quite funny to use an article in french. I always find it interesting that English are so fancy about this word
Sorry, I get it, but I wasn't clear. The sentence was: "❤❤❤ kunnen wij reclame maken op internet?" My first translation: "How can we make advertisement on the internet?" Duo: Oops, that's not correct. "How can we make advertisements on the internet?" I understand that my translation wasn't perfect, but it is surprising that it would have been acceptable, if I would have put "advertisement" into its plural form.
