I finished my Esperanto tree in 56 days!

I went through the tree fast because it is a beta version and I wanted to finish before the real version came out. Now I intend to go back through the tree slowly, from the bottom up and study in more detail.

Why is this older post at the top of the "new" discussions? Congrats by the way!

Gratulon! Ĉu vi sentas, ke vi jam povas paroli la lingvon?

The "first finish" is a wonderful achievement. The first time you gold it feels even better. ;-)

Gratulon denove!

What is a "reverse tree?"

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/SariniLynn

I'm not sure how it relates to this thread... but...

The reverse tree is the one from your target language into your native language. So an English-speaker who has completed the French tree, may choose to change their Duolingo settings to French and "learn" English that way, in order to continue practicing their French skills.

A similar term often used is "laddering", which is learning a new language from a previously completed language. So an English-speaker who has completed the French tree, may choose to change their Duolingo settings to French and learn Spanish that way, adding a new language while also continuing to practice their French skills.
