is duoilingo suitable for kids learning?
is duolingo adapted to children in language learning?
Yes because Im only in 8th grade and im taking a high school class online and this is helping me understand the lessons that my teacher give and she recommends it to all her students. If you want my opinion yes it is suitable for kids learning.
Yes same here. My Spanish teacher recommended that my class and I should use it.
yes because im in 10 grade and this helps me understand the spainsh words i dont understand and have trouble with ...........so in short yes
I'm not a child anymore and I'm not doing this for school, but I think the game-like structure, the community here and the fact that it's The Internet are all gread for kids. It's not nearly as easy to motivate yourself as a teenager when someone puts a book in front of you.
Yes, I think so. I'm 13 and I learnt a lot of French using duolingo. Instant feedback and being able to use it on an iPhone is really great. And failing a lesson doesn't get me discouraged because it feels like a game. Games are popular among children, and so are iPhones. Instant feedback makes understanding things easier. I personally find duolingo more fun and efficient compared to a school language class. I think duolingo is great for children as long as it suits their learning style well.
I asked a very similar question, I have two of my four children on Duolingo, they are 10 and 11 my 10 year old is struggling a bit, but my 11 year old is LOVING it! She's picked up a lot! her German teacher at school is very impressed and thinking of asking other parents to get a duolingo account for their kids. (Especially considering she just moved to a new school had been learning Mandarin and now had to change to German and is now topping German at school :D )
