Why is 'Biff' also accepted as correct in this question, what is the difference between the two and when would I use the word biff in place of storfekjøtt?

'biff' is the tender part of beef. 'storfekjøtt' can be all parts of beef.

Is there a difference between oksekjøtt and storfekjøtt? Or do they both mean beef?

'Oksekjøtt' is the meat of an ox or a bull.

'Storfekjøtt' is the meat of any bovine, including the above.

In what context is it more appropriate it say "Det er storfe" versus "Det er storfekjøtt"?
