Surely "jumper" should be allowed

Wouldn't "her sweater" be "Il sua maglione"?

"her sweater" and "his sweater" are both "il suo maglione". The gender of the possessive pronoun, "suo" or "sua", matches the object being possessed, i.e., "maglione".

I got the answer right, but I'm wondering why wouldn't you use "sue" instead of "suo"? What am I missing?

"sue" is used when the object is feminine plural, but "maglione" is masculine singular.
