Students' progress/XP points disappearing
Is anyone else having this problem? A few of my students have told me that progress they made the day before is gone when they go back in Duolingo the next day. Are they doing something wrong?
Some are saying they were in fact connected to the internet, but points are gone the next day!
If that is actually the case, the best thing I can suggest is using the "Submit Bug Report" button at the bottom of the help page. (There is a link to help at the bottom of every page on the web site. I don't know if you can access it through the app, I haven't tried.)
Hi! This is strange, and should not be happening. We store all points and they should absolutely not be disappearing. Do they have the latest version of the app, or are they doing it on the website? Are all the affected students using a similar device? If this continues, please send us more details (such as usernames) via email (email@example.com) and we'll look into it.
