Baş ağrın var mı? Is that a possible alternative, or is this a phrase which is always answered by the verb ağrımak?
I am a native. I think this should be accepted. My answer was "Baş ağrınız var mı?", and this was not accepted either.
Why is "sizin başınız ağrıyor mu?" not accepted as correct? Is "başın ağrıyor mu" a fixed phrase?
It's an accepted answer. You must've had a typo or something.
Why doesn't accept "kafan ağrıyor mu"?
Good eyes come in handy here. I have cataracts in both eyes so I didn't catch that.
'Başın agriyor mu' i wrote this but then cleared it and wrote 'baş ağrısı var mı? Because that would translate better to ' do you have a headache?'
'Başın ağrıyor mu?' would translate better to 'Does your head hurt?'
