J + [number]

I was watching a French cartoon, and it kept flashing "J + 1", "J + 2", "J + 10", I think it meant "Day 1", "Day 2", etc.

I know "Jour(née)" means "Day" in French, does "J + ..." mean the same as "Day ..." in English?

Smart of you. Yes, that is the right explanation. D-Day translates in "Jour-J".

So J+1 is D+1, i.e. the day after, J+2 two days later, etc...
