Catalan course & other languages
Is it just me or did these people put in work!? And I mean WORK. I mean seriously, it seems like only yesterday they announced Catalan for Spanish speakers and I couldn't be more happy with the pace they've been going at. I seriously want to thank them so much for their effort and I cannot wait to jump in whenever the course is released.
I'd love to see other smaller Romance languages make it on the incubator some day and even creoles that have derived from them. I'm talking Occitan, Galician, Haitian Creole. I'm dying to learn Haitian Creole as a Puerto Rican and would love to learn the language of my brothers and sisters in the Caribbean. There's almost 10 million native speakers and it's the most spoken creole in the world! I neeeeeed some Haitian Creole in my life. :P
I am pretty excited for the Catalan tree. I would be as excited for Occitan, Galician, Mirandese or Romanian.
I would love to learn Occitan and Galician. I hope that Duolingo goes on with its commitment with minority languages and new courses may be launched as they did with Guarani, Irish or Welsh.
Haitian is the seventh largest romance language - of course it should come here!
They're working on Catalan for Spanish speakers? Guess I better start concentrating on Spanish.
how good....i am looking forward to it. when do you think it would be available ???
