So,what is the difference if there is any?
Do you mean "dinlemek" and "sesleNmek" ?
Duymak = to hear
Dinlemek = to listen
Seslenmek = to call (like : "Hey buddy , come hereee !! I'm here !" * shakes his hand up*)
Aramak = to call (in telephone)
Aramak = to search
Araştırmak = to search (about a issue like Uralic languages from Wikipedia)
You are right. There is no difference between "dinlemek" and "seslemek". However, as you have seen, even the many native speakers did not hear about the verb "seslemek". It is a kind of word, which is in the dictionary but nobody uses it. If you want to say "listen" in Turkish, "dinlemek" is the way to go.

it is also listed as "hlk" in TDK dictionary, so obviously it is only used locally by some people in daily speech.
