Showing English (from German) progress on my profile ?!?

Dear Duolingo Team,

First of all: Congrats on the new course! I tried quite a bit already and am pretty happy with what I see. I found some tiny errors and commented on that, but the whole thing seems pretty....well...nearly perfect...I REALLY like it! Keep up the good work!

I just have one question. As I am pretty fluent in English and speak it on a daily basis, I had no problem starting the language trees (Spanish, French, Italian) from/based on English. My progress is shown on my profile.

But NOW that I started the English tree, it appears that either my English progress is shown on my profile (when I am currently working on English) OR my progress in the other languages is shown (when I am working on Spanish, French or Italian).

Now my question is: Will you combine these sooner or later? Or will it stay this way? Because if it stays this way, that would mean that I would have to do the Spanish, French and Italian tree all over again (once they are available in German). And I would not really want to do that... I would simply love to see my profile indicating the following: English (level 23 - just an example), Spanish (level 7), French (level 6) etc., etc.

I would appreciate some short feedback on this. Thanks in advance!

It has been asked several times (never see any answer. If they don't want to, think about it, don't want to answer...).

But it seems that the interfaces are quite isolated one from another and so it's maybe not easy to do and/or maybe not a priority to Duolingo.

I absolutely agree with you. I have the same problem and I have submitted the same request a couple of weeks ago and no body answered....

tbh, I've noticed this on people's profiles and it's what stopped me from doing the English for German speakers course. I don't want to lose what I've worked for.

I agree, but this has been asked before.
