My brother lives in Italy! I live in AZ (right next to the border of Mexico).

Where I go to school, the art and music classes are bassed on romantic ages. (:

When kids in my class don't listen in English, my teacher starts speaking in German!!!!!

Esperanto, because it's so much fun and I meet so many interesting people through it! :)

From foreign languages I love Swedish. It's so simple and cute and it sounds drunk.

each language of the Universe

German or Russian - I think they both sound the nicest, and the culture of those two nations are deeply rooted in the language itself. :)

I was going to say the same thing.

German was the first foreign language that I learned, so maybe I'm biased because of it. Russian was my second language.

Now that I am relearning Russian, I am really starting to like it again.

I like Danish too. And French.

That's awesome! Good luck with all your languages ^_^ And hopefully the Russian course comes out soon so we'll have access to more Russian (re-)learning resources :p

My favorite language is probably American Sign Language or Polish.

German, French, Russian, Mandarin. I just like Russian because of War and Peace(it was originally written in Russian and French)

I'd say English. However, if I had to include foreign languages I would choose either: German, French, Japanese or maybe Norwegian.

i like Malaysian or maybe French but i think my favorite is ummmm i think it would be well i guess there are some languages i don't know yet once i know more i might be able to make a better decision .

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Girly_4564749

french is a good choice

I'm a native English speaker, and I'd say I'm undecided between English and Dutch. I really love the flexibility of English, but as I learn more Dutch, I may learn how to be more flexible with it.

Also Dutch is both familiar (it's close to English), and it can do certain things that English can't without sounding awkward. Like 'ik zit te schrijven.' means 'I am writing (while sitting)'. I love how often positions are used in Dutch (sitting, standing, lying, walking, hanging). English doesn't have this to the same extent.

Once I know more about other languages, my favourite might change. If it does, it will probably be to another Germanic language like Afrikaans or German. While I like the idea of some of the romance languages, like Spanish, they just feel so unfamiliar. Maybe that will change in the future.

I might look for another language outside of the romance/germanic languages and see how I like it. :) Who knows?

espanol y ingles

I love Romanian! <3

Body language.

Well, if I have to say a real language. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm I guess Korean because it's so trendy and sounds nice. Like the language only, not the culture, sadly. I wouldn't learn Korean though.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/csi

Why "not the culture"?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/HexManiacSarina

It just doesn't match me well. I like how it sounds and the Hangul, but that's about it.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/csi

Ohh I see. I thought you meant Korean culture wasn't nice.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/HexManiacSarina

I mean, I'm not really a fan of it. My major was Asian studies for 2 years because I was getting ready to be an ESL teacher over there and I did learn Korean for a long while. I can see why other people like the culture and find it interesting, but for me it's just no. I just like cultures that aren't so insular and more open and social.

Spanish, English and Italian (in that order).

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/adrianaponzio1

I love artificial/constructed languages in general. They are a source of research and, why not, fun. Esperanto is one of my favorites.
