What is the difference between Besucher and Gast?
A Besucher might stay for a meal, or visit a museum. A Gast is usually staying in your home.
(Gastgeber is host)
If i were aware that the visitor would be a girl/female, should i instead use 'die Besucher'?
No, there's a different word for that, "die Besucherin."
How do I know when to use "Besucher" and whem to use "Gaste". I mean, in the tranalation it is the same thing
Well, you could have people visiting you, but then you invite them to stay overnight and you would get the Guestroom ready for them.
Was taught this as Gast earlier and had no idea what Besucher was :P Duolingo can be strange.
Well, when you talk about visitors to a zoo or museum, you would not call them guests there.
At full speed it's impossible to differentiate between Die and Der when it is the male voice. It's driving me a bit mad.
Great name for a horror movie
I looked this up and it can translate into the English as: visitor; caller; patron. בס"ד
