mic problems

my mic settings show the mic is working but the app keeps telling me to speak slower, but now it dosent seem to recognise the mic sounds at all. the mic works fine in other programs

I have the same problema. I´m on a Surface Pro 2 Tablet. Neither the built-in mic nor a headset will work, but both work fine with Skype.
