what is the difference between haben and habt

Wir haben, sie/Sie haben = we have, they have; ihr habt = you have.

Why "Sie haben Wasser" is not correct? is third person plural, like teachers

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/_novice

sie haben means "they have", whereas the question asks for "teachers have"

Because "teacher" is "lehrer" and "haben" implies plural.

But isn't Lehrer also the plural for teachers?

"Lehrer" is also plural, right. Here you should translate the word "teachers" = "Lehrer" and not "they" = "sie", so "sie" is wrong.

An addition: "Lehrer habt Wasser" could be right, because it can be meant as an imperative like "Teachers! Have water!"
