Streak lost due to winter time adjusting?
I lost my streak 30 minutes before midnight. We were moving out of summer time this weekend, which resulted in a 25 hour long Sunday. Can that be a cause? If so, can I somehow regain my lost streak?
Same problem here. I lost my 73 day streak. Pretty annoying... As I can see, there is many of us with this problem. So hopefully they will notice it and do something about it.
Same has happened to me.
I didn't do DuoLingo Saturday, but I had streak freeze. Today I've completed DuoLingo before midnight (GMT) but have lost a 760 day streak!
Ouch! That is a long streak to lose, I hope you can get it restored. I'm feeling very fortunate that I didn't lose my streak. I wonder why it happened to some people and not others.
I think it only happened to those who started their daily chores after 11:00 PM. As the summer time -> winter time transition didn't take place in America last weekend, their Sunday was not 25 hours long. So their servers recorded the timeout after 11 PM (after 24 hours had passed) and were not aware of the winter time transition taking place now.
By the way if any admins confirmed my theory, that would be great.
That sounds reasonable but earlier I completed my goal during the night several times. "The day ended" around 5 am, which was very comfortable if I had to work late or anything else happened. Yesterday I lost 180 days :-/
This has just happened to me 130 odd days gone, i'm sure it was there yesterday and i had a streak freeze. Ach well its only a game
I've just noticed that yesterday I did 19 points instead of my minimum of 20 so that's why I lost mine. I must have lost my streak freeze the day before although I completed my minimum. I'm surprised that I care but I do, it is a definite motivational tool.

I think it happened to me too, 502 days streak and I was sure I had streak freeze equipped and I don't know how it did happen! Please take all my lingots but fix it! T.T

Example: After a full month of complaining every week they finally restored my email-notifications today. But now the incubator button is turned off (and I just found out by their reply that they did it deliberately because I didn't contribute enough to their source of income.)
Me too - my streak is down to 1 - and yet my graph shows that I reached my goal every day the last week. Something very weird is going on there...
Does anyone from DuoLingo read this? Is there a way of getting in touch with support other than these forums?

I just lost my streak mid way through a session, so not happy. Mine was 67 days, so not nearly as big a loss as others. Definitely something odd happening with the clocks/timing of things. I also stopped receiving the reminder emails a few days ago, which is a shame as it was always a great reminder when busy.
Same to me I lost 80+ days streak, but now my chart doesn't show 0, Please RETURN them back!
