Expectations of a Cherokee (part 2/3)
ᎣᏏᏲ
These are called "Cherokee Cultural behaviors" and are expected to be followed by most cherokees, altough they are expectations present in most socities. I will write it out in cherokee then in english if you are a learner. Here it goes. Please note that this is not an exact translation, but it's english equivalent, otherwise it would sound a bit odd.
ᏣᎳᎩ ᏳᎾᏛ ᏁᎵᏓᏍᏘ
6.) ᏣᎳᎩ: ᎤᏔᎾ ᏱᎦᏬᏂ ᎭᏛᏓᏍᏘᎮᏍᏗ
ᎩᎵᏏ: When an adult talks, you listen.
7.) ᏣᎳᎩ: ᏂᏴᎵᏒᏴᎵᏒ ᎧᏅᏑᎸ ᏏᎦᏗᏳ ᏕᎯᏲᎵᎮᏍᏗ
ᎩᎵᏏ: When you enter a room, you shake everyone's hand.
8.) ᏣᎳᎩ: ᎠᏰᏟ ᏂᏕᎯᏕᎮᏍᏗ ᎡᎵᏱᎦ ᏄᏂᎲᎾ ᏂᎯᏃ ᎨᏒᎢ
ᎩᎵᏏ: You share with others that have less than you.
9.)ᏣᎳᎩ: ᏅᏩᎾᏓᎴ ᏕᎯᏍᏕᎵᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏣᏜᏅ ᏓᏕᎲ
ᎩᎵᏏ: You help others when you can.
10.) ᏣᎳᎩ: ᏣᎳᎩ ᎯᏯᎵᏃᎮ ᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎦᎪᏭ ᏣᎳᎩ ᎦᏬᏂᏍᎩ ᏱᎩ.
ᎩᎵᏏ: You speak cherokee to anyone that speaks cherokee (This is a very very important one today)

For those who can't read cherokee, would you like me to put them in english letters as well, just to see what they sound like?
Cherokee is very diffirent from english ;) I might later, don't have a lot of time on my hands at the moment, plus im also putting these into english letters. But if I get the time, sure thing ;) Plus I was also talking about word order.

If there are any Native/Fluent cherokee speakers here, please let me know, I think I made a minor mistake in #10. My cherokee is not perfect :P
