It would be really interesting to have all skills named in German (with English translation).
The skills are pretty well organized in Duolingo, and the lessons that were recently added made it even closer to the "Deutsch als Fremdsprache" books - content- and level-wise. What I miss, though, is naming the skills directly in German. Zum Beispiel: I have recently completed "Feelings" lessons, but in no time the word "Gefühl" was mentioned. In my opinion, we could have the skills named in German, with English translation in their respective pages. Was ist Ihre Meinung?
All the reasons mentioned above, and others sure to follow; I started to work on the reverse tree, and I highly recommend it. Not only you get additional words added to your vocabulary, there is an abundance of different ways of expressing the same concept. I would say that I am learning more German by "learning" English from German. Give it a try
I agree with you. I'm really enjoying the reverse tree. I especially like discussing the sentences with the German speakers in their own language.
I agree this is how I learned things in French class in high school and it helped to keep my mind in another language when learning that language. I think explinations in both German and English would help as well.
