bugs in the system

I'm having a few problems with this: at times I type exactly what's given as the correct answer, but am told I've done it wrong. Additionally, it doesn't make sense to penalize someone for misspelling in Roman alphabet a language that isn't written in the Roman alphabet, so long as the orthography could reasonably be pronounced as was written. Of course, it's hard to teach a computer all the possible variables for pronunciation. For example Moe should orthographically be written mayo' as that's the actual pronunciation of the word. Moe shows a misreading of the Cyrillic orthography pronunciationally speaking, at least.
