  5. You've conquered the Russian …

You've conquered the Russian skill tree!

Well, I am a Russian speaker. There is no way I would have done it otherwise :) Still, it was a struggle. I failed taking the shortcuts, and in some subjects even failed to take the "test out" option. Too many correct answers are still missing, but many reports were sent along the way, a lot of them were already accepted.

I'd like to express once again my appreciation to the entire Russian team, for their dedication and the ongoing effort to make this course better!

Good luck everyone with this language. Not an easy one :(

That is very good of you as a native speaker to help out those of us who are learning, by beta testing for us. Спасибо большой!

You're welcome :)

P.S. We say большое спасибо. "Большое" = big (neutral gender)

Blahh...it's late and I can't spell. Even my English is deteriorating. It's time for bed!! ;-D

Wow! Congratulations. I know you're a native speaker but it still would've taken a lot of effort. Thank you for testing the tree and sending error reports as well so that it will be better when the slow people like me progress down the tree :) Russian is not an easy language but I am trying very hard. It's funny because the day Russian was released was the day I started learning about Russia in history.

Thanks. Good luck with your Russian. Unfortunately, having English as your native language does not help much with Russian - the languages are too different. On the other hand, since you've got level 24 in German, that might give you some help - 3 genders, cases, prefixes, German has it all :)

Being dissimilar is a good thing. What's the point in learning two nearly identical languages (as a hobby)?

It depends on your objectives. I enjoyed learning Swedish after German, as the combination German+English makes it easier to learn Swedish, and it is interesting to observe the variations of the same roots across different languages.

You've got a knack for languages! I've been struggling away with just French for years and I'm finally starting to be able to watch Peppa Pig and read simple books.

Судя по всему, кое-что ты еще помнишь :)

You missed out on a lot of lingots by doing test out! Good job though :)

I know, but trust me, I am not short of lingots. Take these five as a gift, just because I have nothing better to do with them :)

Thanks for the gift, or perhaps it would be more suitable to say Danke! Or спасибо! ;)
