An important video on intonation and pronunciation
Here's a video of an interview with Luca Lampariello, a very well-known polyglot in the language learning community. In it he gives really good advice on how to reduce one's native accent in a target language. I actually learned a lot from this video, and I plan on using his tips to lose my gringo accent in Spanish. I hope it helps you guys. (if it's too long, set the speed to 1.5)
I'd also like to add my own tip on how to improve intonation and pronunciation. All you need is a small piece of audio in your target language and a recording device (or just use vocaroo.com). Then what you do is mimic the audio as best you can and record yourself doing it.This way you can compare the recording of yourself with the audio and make any adjustments in your speech accordingly. Warning: hearing yourself speaking a foreign language can be a little unsettling at first, but it's a really good learning exercise.

it's actually unsettling even if you've become fluent in the language.
