"crammer, n, (dated infml) special school where students are crammed" (Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, 1994) What is a "crammer"? Or: In what sense "die Presse" is used?
Apparently the word "Presse" is used in the meaning you described here, though I've never come across it in my whole life. Moreover, the dictionary says this meaning is dated or almost dated in German too: "Privatschule zur intensiven Vorbereitung schwacher Schüler auf ein Examen, veraltend". http://www.dwds.de/?qu=presseview=1 See also: http://www.duden.de/rechtschreibung/Presse#Bedeutung3
